Some of them have analogue & digital on the one card, and the really old ones are analogue only. (In my area all channels are now digital except for one. Therefore, I have both analogue and digital cards in my PC.) These days you can also buy digital TV tuners built into USB sticks, which are much more portable and also suitable for laptops. If you have an analogue tv tuner in your computer, then it won't work. If you have a digital tuner though then it will (and hybrids will work for digital but not analogue).
