Magenta, Columbia, Riff-Raff and that Sweet T known as Frank-N-Furtuer. What do all these names have in common? Of course, they’re all character in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. There are plenty of other characters but these would be the most popular ones that are always referenced. Because of this they all have ready made Rocky Horror Picture Show costumes for fans. Every year I attend a Rocky showing at a local theater on or around Halloween. Here are my thoughts on the Magenta and Columbia costumes.
Columbia makes a great costume because the character is so bizarre to begin with and is probably the most colorful member of the cast. If you’re going as part of a big group this would be a great addition to the group. You can dress up as Columbia and your boyfriend can dress up as Eddie. You’re already going to a morbid show so why not have the costumes to match?
The Columbia Costume was another that looked really good on my friend and anyone else dressed up in this costume that happened to be there. She purchased this exact same costume and other costumes at the show looked very similar.
Magenta is a somewhat standard costume that is very, very easy to pull off. It can also be very bland and boring because it is so standard in design. Taking a different scene from the film or musical and manipulating it to fit that particular scene is what I would recommend. You really should do something to stand out. Otherwise you’re stuck with a boring costume.
My friend was able to pull off the Magenta costume quite nicely using this simple formula. By taking the basic design and adding her own style to it she crafted a perfect costume for her. If you do the same you’re guaranteed to make yourself happy.

The G-Force movie, is written by Cormac and Marianne Wibberley, the husband and wife team who have in the past delivered many hits like National Treasure, Bad Boys II etc. It is an out and out family flick and therefore a great hit with all age groups. After watching this movie, what might prove to be difficult is, the part where you tell your kids that it will not be possible to keep rodents as pets because that is what they will want to do after watching the movie.
The movie begins with a mole and three guinea pigs receiving training to speak like humans through some devices that are fitted in them. Together, they form the formidable G-squad who have been trained as spies. Ben, (Zack Galifianakis) a scientist who works for the government on the low level is responsible for training them. Besides this he also specializes in training insects to carry in to small spaces, tiny cameras and is also considered to be the lord of the flies.
The lead pig, Darwin (Sam Rockwell’s voice)is assisted by Juarez (voiced by Penelope Cruz) a latina, feisty guinea pig and Blaster (voiced by Tracy Morgan)a guinea pig who is African-American and Speckles, the mole (Nicholas Cage), the tech guyin all missions. Speckles also held responsible for talking the guinea pigs through any mission as he gets to electronically survey the vicinity that needs to be broken in to before the guinea pigs move in. His ethnic background remains undisclosed.
Ben suspects that Sabar, (Bill Nighy) a industrialist who is a billionaire is scheming to conquer the world through his electrical appliances. Sadly, this mission goes awry and the FBI (Will Arnett and co) close down Ben’s zoo and gives all the zoo animals to a pet shop. While in the pet shop, the guinea pigs meet a crazy hamster (Steve Buscemi), who is partly a ferret and Hurley (voiced by Jon Favreau) another guinea pig that is chubby together they set out to get revenge.
The rodents manage to escape from the pet shop along with their friends. Their main aim is to head toward Sabar and foil his deadly plans. The action begins from here. Not only will the chase scenes keep you on the edge of your seat but might threaten to throw you off the chair even in all the running and chasing, as the one liners come flying out thick and fast and your laughter is never ending. The pace of the story is peppy.

It is the choices we make that define our life. This concept is conveyed in the motion picture produced by Universal Pictures and Timur Bekmambetov wields the megaphone for Wanted Movie. It opened at the box office in 2008. The film boasts of big stars with James McAvoy donning the role of the main protagonist with supporting roles from Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman. The main character in the film is Wesley Gibson who is a failure in his work and suffers from a mysterious feeling for short bursts of time. His life takes a sharp turn after he finds out about his past and his fathers killing. He sets his mind onto avenging his fathers death.
The life of Wesley Gibson turns upside down when he meets the hot Fox played by Angelina Jolie. She rescues him from an alleged assassin and tells him the story of his father and introduces him to Sloan who is the leader of an organization which specializes in assassinations. He then trains to become a member of the organization with the goal of avenging his fathers death. The rest of the story revolves around how he manages to find his fathers killer and learns the truth behind the organization.
Wanted Movie rides on the performances of the cast and the tempo of the film. Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) is utilized to the fullest and the action scenes have been caught well and are the major draw for the film. Morgan Freeman excels in his role as Sloan and Angelina Jolie scorches the screen. James McAvoy gives a decent performance as the main protagonist and portrays his emotions well in the first half of the film as a confused employee.
