1. My laptop and television both have HDMI ports, so I use the TV as a monitor while controling the laptop with the mouse and keyboard. The audio transfers to the TV as well. Most laptops do not have HDMI ports, however.
2. If you have S-Video out, you could watch the video on the TV, but listen to the audio through the speakers on the computer.
3. If you have a PC Card slot, you can get an Audio/Video adapter card, and use the same red, yellow, and white plugged wires that you would use for an older Xbox, etc. to plug into the TV.
4. If you are trying to use a Desktop, it gets more difficult.

Short for Super-Video, a technology for transmitting video signals over a cable by dividing the video information into two separate signals: one for color , and the other for brightness .To use S-Video, the device sending the signals must support S-Video output and the device receiving the signals must have an S-Video input jack. Then you need a special S-Video cable to connect the two devices.
But u canot hear the sound by S-Video wire
