Floyd did want to fight cotto when they were both under top rank. Mayweather-Gatti was supposed to set up Mayweather-Cotto, but after seeing May trash Gatti, Arum wasn’t too quick to put him and Cotto in the same ring. May wanted $10 mil to fight Cotto, and would not fight Margs for $8 mil if he couldn’t get that $10 mil to fight Cotto, which was only fair, but of course Arum gave him only a $7 mil offer, which May turned down. Arum lowballed him and now he says that Floyd ducked both of them.

the cotto loss to margarito should be erased in the records. Cotto is a respectable fighter, gentleman a nd a good sports man. Why can’t mayweather fight him? if not afraid was is the reason?
