Floyd did want to fight cotto when they were both under top rank. Mayweather-Gatti was supposed to set up Mayweather-Cotto, but after seeing May trash Gatti, Arum wasn’t too quick to put him and Cotto in the same ring. May wanted $10 mil to fight Cotto, and would not fight Margs for $8 mil if he couldn’t get that $10 mil to fight Cotto, which was only fair, but of course Arum gave him only a $7 mil offer, which May turned down. Arum lowballed him and now he says that Floyd ducked both of them.

one thing that I hate about puertorican fans is tha any time a puerttorican boxer is defeated they try to justify with a lot of reasons, Margo got plaster on his hands, Pacquiao is using steroids, Santos didn´t do take training to serious, etc. But when pacquiao beat al those mexican boxers was because they weren´t good enough. Come on, dudes we have to be objectives and admit when someone just kicked the shit out of us without thinking in nationality.
