Yeah, me too. The show had it’s issues, but it’s still one of my favourite shows!

Gee whiz, Katee and Bear! I absolutely love you Katee! And I am forever in Bear McCreary’s debt for his incredible talent. His music absolutely is the most perfect backdrop for the best show in the history of the world. Thank you for spending this special time with your adoring fans!

I didn’t understand the end as Kara Thrace dying…
I thought the bottom line was that Kara Thrace was, to this day, in all of us. That we all have a special destiny.
Hence Lee’s words: “Goodbye Kara Thrace. You won’t be forgotten”…

bucketoftsuki:
It’s very unique for its nuances & its use of different musical styles & instruments that one wouldn’t normally hear in a science fiction soundtrack.
Babylon 5’s soundtrack / score ( Christopher Franke ) runs a close second to BSG’s, though, Just IMHO.

Every time I hear this song, first, I’m enraptured. And then I’m reminded of just how much I miss BSG.

I have to say, the BSG soundtrack was the firt TV-series soundtrack that actually stuck out to me. The songs are just brilliant, and when you listen to the soundtracks consecutively, they all kind of have the same flow to them. Love the incorperation of ethnic instruments with classical – LOVE the BSG drums. Each song has the most ridiculous amount of effort and thought infused into it, it really is amazing. I pity those who aren’t musicians because its difficult to understand otherwise.
