Sex and the City who? Years after SATC’s reign, the new series to watch over at HBO is the unabashedly sexual series, True Blood. An adaptation of Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire Mystery series, the show centers on Sookie Stackhouse [Ana Paquin], a telepathic waitress who works at Merlotte’s in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana. It is indeed a good thing to know that you can now watch True Blood TV show online.
True Blood centers on Sookie Stackhouse [Ana Paquin], a telepathic waitress who lives in Bon Temps, Louisiana. Sookie is an outsider looking in until her path crosses that of Bill Campton [Stephen Moyer], a 173-year old vampire she falls in love with. Like Six Feet Under, True Blood is unsparing in presenting the depth of its colorful characters. There’s Sookie’s brother Jason [Ryan Kwanten], the local Lothario who in Season One was accused of murdering a lover. Then there’s Lafayette [Nelsan Ellis], Merlotte’s cook who also part-times as Jason’s gay drug pusher; Tara, Sookie’s bestfriend who in Season One was involved in a bizarre exorcism rite; and Sam Merlotte, Sookie’s boss, who is secretly in love with her and who also happens to be a shape-shifter.
Ball had a brainwave about the series after reading the first installment in Harris vampire series, Dead Until Dark. He became interested in bringing Harris’ vision to the small screen after reading the entire series.
Harris was offered two other adaptation options for the series when Ball approached her. In the end, she chose to go with Ball because she felt that Ball understood what she was doing with the books.
When the series premiered in September 2008, True Blood garnered a very modest 1.44 million viewers. By November, however, this figure jumped to 6.8 million a week, which included repeat and on-demand viewings. The series is now HBO’s most popular series since The Sopranos and Sex and the City.
If the saying sex sells is anything to go by, then Ball and HBO certainly did find a goldmine in the show. Watch True Blood TV show online now.

If the sound of metal against metal and gigantic robots destroying the living hell out of each other is your cup of tea, make sure you watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen online free. There is nothing more you can expect from a Michael Bay film other than chaos, explosions, smoking hot girls and chaos again and this is exactly what you get in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie.
The action scenes are certainly the best that I have seen so far and people would be dumbstruck at the quality of CGI Animation adopted in this movie. However these things come with its fair share of drawbacks as the whole movie emphasizes solely on robotic fight sequences and explosions and thus the audiences get a bad storyline. Nevertheless, the action scenes are very good that it could make old Arnie jump out his seat.
The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie broke several box office record for ticket revenue and this definitely is not astonishing. The extensive length of the movie was a factor that was widely criticized – approximately close to 3 hours. It would have been still superior if a a few scenes had been edited and omitted.
Most of the things in the movie are brilliantly portrayed, the time frame, the robots, the transformation, and the story too. Even though the story is little it does fit into the movie pretty well. Criticism doesnt affect Michael Bay, he does what he likes to do ” direct the best, out of the world action scenes that look totally flawless.
The story is all about the battle between the huge robots. Like I said earlier, the storyline is not focus of the film but we should respect that considering the fact that we were treated to some scintillating action. There are more fight scenes and robots involved when you compare it with the original movie. This actually gives you a feeling that the Transformers are vigilantes for earths people and not some distant warring aliens.
On the acting side of things, no one takes anyones breath away but the cast does put together a decent job. Josh Duhamel and Tyrese look like they have been forced into delivering their script while Megan Fox looks as stunning as ever and does a good job at acting. Michael Bay has always loved slow motion sequences but this is probably the first time he puts in more slow motion sequences when Megan Fox is running than in the fight scenes but I must say, it was completely satisfying. Shia does a good job acting like the half confused- half hero college kid and is given the responsibility to save the world.
