Golfers have been fascinated with dominating the often frustrating game of golf ever since the game was invented in Scotland back in the 15th century. Since 1750, the modern game of golf evolved into what we know it as today. Mastering the game of golf is still as difficult as ever, even though golf equipment technology and teaching techniques have improved.
Fortunately, nowadays we have access to golf tips online through the Internet. I have played golf for over 30 years, but I struggled to master the game until I began researching online. With the various golf resources available on the Web, it is now easier to learn new techniques that can make a big difference with your golf game.
There are many excellent paid products, like golf instructional DVD’s, golf swing aids, and even some golf e-books that can help you master the game of golf. But, you can also find some valuable free golf tips online as well. Although you sometimes will find that there are many different techniques – especially regarding the grip and the transition from backswing to downswing.
To see what works for you, just try out the different techniques until you feel comfortable. A recent field survey by NBC (NY Times, October 17, 2008) found free Internet streaming TV viewership to be gaining on conventional television – cable, satellite and terrestrial broadcast. By surpassing the quarter mark of total viewing of NBC’s TV episodes as yardsticks, NBC has shown that there’s no stopping Internet TV now. As with email, messaging, conferencing and telephony, Free TV on PC will soon become a standard internet feature.
Boosted by power-packed PCs, multi-media peripherals and broadband transmission, all the historical setbacks upon Internet TV are now a thing of the past. The volume of internet users has also long exceeded the critical mass level for the economy of scale in both technological and commercial terms. This is well-demonstrated by the wide spectrum of industries already exercising a footprint on the web so why not Television?
The most well-known versions of television available on the net today are Internet TV, IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), Broadband TV and User Generated Content TV. Since the television programming is viewed through the PC, it’s almost automatic that computer software program would be employed to control and organize the access, download and watching of TV on PC. There is a handful of proprietary software retailing on the net that do an excellent job of it and as free TV on PC evolve, these software would only get better.

Younger consumers are turning to the internet to satisfy their musical needs, since most other resources are unreasonably expensive.

In 2008 The major movie companies brought movie lovers over 350 films. Out of all these movies, some where around sixty or seventy fit into the comedy genre. Here are some of the best funny movies produced in 2008.
GET SMART: Maxwell Smart (agent 86) is here again, can you believe it? would you believe..? KAOS vs CONTROL, agents hidden in plants, and all the great one liners. This is a modern day version that looks back at the world of KAOS and CONTROL.
MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA: As you might imagine, this is the next edition to the box office hit Madagascar. The small group of animal friends are attempting to leave Madagascar, and go back to the Central Park Zoo, putting an end to thier incredible adventure. With things going wrong again, due to the Penguins, they find themselves going to Africa instead.
ROLE MODELS: Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (William Scott) who sell energy drinks, are going to see some hard jail time after destroying the company vehicle while binging. The only way to avoid going to prison is by doing communuty service. The catch is they will have to work as mentors with difficult children in a community service program. Let the fun begin.
TROPIC THUNDER: Starting with an incredible cast we find ourselves watching a parody of recent war movies. In order to inspire the over rated cast of actors to make a first rate war movie, the desperate director into the wild, and leaves them on thier own. The plan is to scare them into producing a war classic, that will be recorded on hidden cameras. Unbelievabley, as the director walks over a land mine and is blown apart, the crew is left on its own, and they think there acting, but the bullets flying are actually real. Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Tom Cruise star.
ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO: The bills are piling up and Zack and Miri, life long platonic friends who live together, are desperate to make some money. What’s their solution? That’s obvious, start making pornos. As you might expect this sets the stage for a fun movie.
STEP BROTHERS: When two child like older men, who still live with their single parents, find themselves having to share a bedroom because their mom and dad get married, you can only imagine the mess. With Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in those roles, and the table is set for a very fun film. This movie is a must see if your looking for some laughs.
PINEAPPLE EXPRESS: Underacheiveing pothead Dale has just witnessed a crooked cop, and a big time dealer, commit a murder. He was spotted witnessing the crime. Knowing they’ve seen him, he unwittingly throws down his joint, a unique version called pineapple express, and runs. The pot is so unique, that the bad guys can trace it. The chase is on, the bad guys are hunting, and Dale and dealer Saul are on the run.
HAMLET 2: Unsucessful actor Dana Marshz now finds himself teaching theater classes at the high school to uninspired high schoolers. The school loses a building due to destruction, so the powers to be feel the acting classes will be what is dropped. Fully inspired, he plans to save the program by producing Hamlet 2, a new version of the classic, which he put to paper himself.
FORGETTING SAHRAH MARSHALL: Grief stricken from a break up with Sarah, a television actor, Peter (Jason Segal) decides to escape to Hawaii to recover from his depression. As one might expect, upon checking into the resort, the first thing he sees is sarah and her new boyfriend, a rock star super stud. This movie has all the ingredients of a thoughtful romantic comedy.
These movies, and many, many more, are yours to buy, pick up as a rental, or can be down loaded to your computer. I have made a short list of movie hits for 2008. This list consists of the motion pictures I found entertaining in this years crop. Hopefully you will see a picture or two that are worth watching.
TWENTY ONE: The basis for this film is an amazing true story of young college kids who created a winning formula to beat blackjack. These wiz kids learned to beat the game, and then performed a ruthless attack on the tables. To beat the games in Vegas, where players who beat the game can be banned from playing, they created false identities, and used complex signals to avoid detection. Twenty One is based on the book that explains how these kids made millions playing blackjack.
10,000 B.C.: This movie will take you back to prehistoric times. When a warlike tribe invade the Yaghai tribe, they kidnap the beautiful Evolet. A young hunter named D’Leh, who deeply cares for Evolet, organizes a band of hunters to chase down these warmongers, and save her, and the rest of the captured tribe members.
WANTED: Wesley, an office worker going nowhere in life, learns that his long lost father is an assasin. His father is killed, and now he is being recruited into the secret society of killers that his father was a part of. He now will become the asassin that he was meant to be. After that, everything becomes very complex and twisted. Hang on to your seat.
WALL-E: This picture is an animated, comedy, adventure, sci-fi. Mankind has left Earth, since it had become a pile of rubbish. Wall-E, a trash collecting robot, is assigned to clean up the mess. When a recon bot (Eve) appears, checking for any signs of life, Walle-E has a friend. Eventually, when Eve is recovered by the craft that sent her, Wall-E sneaks aboard, and begins an exciting new life.
BOLT: Bolt is a fun animation. The star is dog actor Bolt, who in his role on television, has super hero dog powers. The thing about Bolt is that he really thinks he has these powers. After he is unexpectedly put into a real life situation, he realizes that he is just a dog. On a journey to get back home, he finds help, in the form of Rhino and Mittens, his newly found hampster and cat friends.
WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS: Wild and crazy nights in Las Vegas are normal. Young partiers Joy and Jack get up the next day and find out that they are married. When they win a $3 million jackpot, each thinks they deserve the prize, so they ask a judge for a decision. The judge decides that for the next few months they must stay together, and try to make their marriage work. With $3 million on the line, they each try to get the other to give up, as both desire to wind up with all the money.
THE CHRONICALS OF NARNIA, PRINCE CASPIAN: It is one year later, in there “regular” lives, when Edmund, Peter, Susan, and Lucy are mysteriously pulled back into Narnia. Running for his life, Prince Caspian has blown the magin horn, in a desparate plea for help. In Narnia, 1,300 years have passed since they were Kings and Queens, but they have been called back to save Narnia from the evil Telmarines. With the help of the the bravest in the forrest, including, a dwarf, the centaurs, and a very skilled mouse, they will fight for the future of Narnia.
Jumper: Nearing death by drowning, David realizes he has an unbelievable ability. He now knows he can transport himself anywhere, anytime. He then comes to learn that he is not the only one that has this capability. After years of “jumping” around the planet, he finds out that there are those that think jumpers are a threat, and need to be eliminated. He now must battle for his life, as the hunters believe he should die.
THE DARK KNIGHT: In this film Batman, and Lt. Gordon and D.A. Harvey Dent, have been taking down the criminal elements of the city. Crime is now down, but now a new super criminal arrives on the scene, and things get a lot worse. Batman has his work cut out him now, as the Joker is dispensing his criminal insanity on Gotham City.
Many people will buy these movies, so they can see them in the comfort of their living rooms. A more recent method for getting films is by using down loading technologies from the internet. There are websites that with a membership, you can download virtually any movie ever made.
